Passport Drama

So it turns out, it is not that easy to get your passport. In order to get your passport, you need a birth certificate, a social security card and a number of other things. So, I had to go back and forth to the post office three different times. I also assumed that they took the picture for you at the post office that is placed on the I.D. They do offer this to you, but it costs an additional fifteen dollars. So when I found out about that, I had to call my mom and tell her to transfer fifteen more dollars to my bank account. After three days of struggling to get this passport, I finally had all of the right paperwork and amount of money to get my passport. Yet, what I failed to remember was that the majority of post offices take about twenty days to process and create the actual ID. Thank goodness I did not wait until the last second to apply for my passport like I do for most other stuff!
